Our Whole Child Project can also help you with children’s items or school uniforms and we provide free baby equipment for teenage mums. Give us a ring if you have any questions.

Audrey was moved by the plight of a 17-year old girl who came to us after being thrown out of the family home. She told us she’d been given a council flat, asked for one of our referral forms and left the office.Half an hour later a Homelessness Officer rang to explain she’d arrived here with everything she owned (i.e. her clothes) and would be moving into her flat that night. Happily, we were able to provide a full house of furniture, as an emergency, the same afternoon. Why hadn’t she said anything herself? Because she was young and inexperienced and hadn’t realised all she needed to do was ask for help.
